PE Weekly Challenge for Seeds, Roots and Branch Classes

  • 9th November 2022 – This week’s P.E. challenge for Seeds, Roots and Branch classes is balance walking or running, adopting the T balance shape whilst walking along a raised flat platform for best results. An extra challenge is to try going backwards.

 

 

  • 16th November 2022 – Last week’s P.E. challenge for Seeds, Roots and Branch classes was balance with walking along a straight line whilst adopting the T balance shape. This week challenge is the same but this time walking along a raised flat platform like a bench . Again try going backwards.

 

 

  • 23rd November 2022 – This week’s P.E. challenge for Seeds, Roots and Branch classes is still around balance walking or running, by adopting the T balance shape whilst walking along a raised flat platform but this time with an item balancing on your head. An extra challenge is to try going backwards.

 

 

  • 30th November 2022 – This week’s P.E. challenge for Seeds, Roots and Branch classes is is agility – whilst walking or running try to move in and out of objects laying on the floor without touching them. Get moving!

 

 

  • 7th December 2022 – This week’s P.E. challenge for Seeds, Roots and Branch classes is still around agility. This time try to walk or run in a zig zag, moving back and forth from objects laying on the floor whilst bending down and touching them each time. Harder than it looks! 

 

 

  • 14th December 2022 – This week’s P.E. challenge for Seeds, Roots and Branch classes continues with agility. This time try to shuttle run – running back and forth 5 times between two items, touching down at them each time. 

 

 

  • 21st December 2022 – This week’s P.E. challenge for Seeds and Roots classes is football keepy-uppies, with a balloon. You can use the laces part of the foot, your knees, head or shoulder, just not your arms or hands. You can use both feet to get the best results. Good luck!   • 22nd February 2023 – This week’s P.E. challenge for Seeds, Roots and Branch classes is seated volleyball serving. You can use a ball or balloon to practise serving. Throw the balloon up and using the palm of your hand hit the balloon. Try hitting into a target as an extra challenge.

Hold the balloon by your side and using a closed fist hit the balloon. Try hitting into a target as an extra challenge.

 

 

  • 8th March 2023 – This week’s P.E. challenge for Seeds, Roots and Branch classes is seated volleyball overhead clear. You can use a ball or balloon to practice. With a partner hit the balloon up using the palm of your hand high as a far away as you can. If you do not have a partner use a wall. 

 

 

  • 15th March 2023 – This week’s P.E. challenge for Seeds, Roots and Branch classes is seated volleyball set shot. You can use a ball or balloon to practise. With a partner hit the balloon up using the fingertips of both hands to set the balloon for them to hit.

  • 23rd November 2022 – This week’s P.E. challenge for Leaf and Accreditation classes is shooting the football ball, using the inside of the foot or the laces for extra power. You can use both feet to get the best results. An extra challenge is to try shooting to the top corner.

 

 

  • 30th November 2022 – This week’s P.E. challenge for Leaf and Accreditation classes is dribbling the basketball ball, using the finger tips for control of the ball, stroking the ball like a cat. You can try each hand as an extra challenge. Get dribbling!

 

 

  • 7th December 2022 – This week’s P.E. challenge for Leaf and Accreditation classes is passing the basketball ball to a partner or against a wall, using the chest pass. You can use both hands to get the best results.

You can use both hands to get the best results. An extra challenge is to try shooting it straight in without hitting the edge. Good luck!

  • 22nd March 2023 – This week’s P.E. challenge for Seeds, Roots and Branch classes is seated volleyball spike shot. You can use a ball or balloon to practise. A partner should hit the balloon up to you using the set shot for you to spike to the ground hard and low. If you do not have a partner you can set it to yourself.
