On Monday the 27th of June year 10 GCSE Music ventured to the newly refurbished Handel & Hendrix Museum.
IN 1741 Handel lived and worked in London and in 1968 Jimi Hendrix called London his home. The two homes has recently been connected and is now a Museum.
The students worked with the resident composer on understanding baroque polyphony.
A highly enjoyable trip. The video show the students playing a new version of ‘and the glory’ the picture is of a 17 century commode and of the hapsichord Handel used.
