On the 10th and 16th of July all year 7s at Riverside visited Kew Gardens. This was to benefit their geography and science classes relating to adaptation of plants to different climates. Students had the opportunity to explore the vast park and thoroughly enjoyed themselves in the indoor rainforests, deserts and on the treetop walk.
Students diligently completed their assigned tasks and the vast majority showed exceptional levels of maturity.
The organising staff would like to thank parents for returning permission slips for all students, allowing this fantastic trip to take place; particularly for 7R, E and S who had their trip rescheduled due to the tube strike on 9th July.
