As part of their study of 19th Century Literature, some students in Year 8 visited the Ragged School Museum in East London. The museum is in a real 19th Century school building and students were not only able to visit the Victorian museum but also had a chance to take part in a typical Victorian style lesson. This allowed them an insight into what life was like in Victorian England and provided a stimulus for us to work from for the rest of the half term.
