On Friday a group of Year 9 students visited King’s College London to attend the launch of the Brilliant Club. Over the next six weeks these students will be working with a PhD student researching MRI scans and neuroimaging. At the end of the six weeks they will write a 2000 word essay on the topic and will attend a graduation ceremony at one of the country’s top universities. The aim of the programme is to inspire our students to attend the country’s top universities and to have the highest of ambitions for themselves. The students found the day stimulating and exciting, and their conduct throughout the day was exemplary.
