On Tuesday 18th November, the Chain Reaction theatre group came into school to give a thought provoking assembly to Year 7 about the issues surrounding immigration and bullying. The aim of the session was to make students aware of the positive impact that people from all parts of the world have on modern day Britain, and to teach the students to be welcoming and friendly to new people in their community. Year 7 thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and asked some very insightful and thought provoking questions at the end. Students will continue to discuss the ideas and themes that were generated during the assembly in their Civics lessons over the next few weeks.
