Visit to Oxford University

The Oxford trip on the 16th May 2017 was extremely fascinating. We had a 2 hr 30 mins (approx) journey and when we arrived we were positively greeted and welcomed by the staff as we entered.

Firstly, we were shown our timetable for the day, we were also introduced to several different schools. There we got offered a variety of tea and coffee to begin the day.

We were lucky enough to have been allocated a PhD tutor as our guide, who actually studies at Oxford University and has had the full experience.

He showed us around the university, we saw many new things, for example the chapel, the lunch hall and the dorms. As the tour continued, he talked us through what life at university is like and how he coped with the changes and studies when he first began.

To conclude the day we were given the opportunity to ask questions so we could receive further insight of university life.
