National Healthy Week

Today’s focus was Reducing Food Waste.

According to the Felix project, “around 1 Of Every 5 Bags Of Food Bought To Feed A Family Is Thrown Away”.

At school, today we ensure that all our vegetable and fruit scraps from our Food Technology lessons were taken to the composter in our Edible Garden to regrow vegetables such as carrots, celery and lettuce.
